Sales to minors or by minors

The Public Health (Sale of Tobacco Products and Non-Medicinal Nicotine Systems) Bill will introduce a ban on sales of non-medicinal nicotine delivery systems to minors and by minors – VBI is fully supportive of this because vaping products are only for adults who smoke and are looking for an alternative.

VBI fully support legislative measures to prohibit the sale of e-cigarettes to anyone under the age of 18. As members of VBI we have developed our own code of conduct on this matter, which has been signed by all members. VBI have written to all members of the Oireachtas as well as the Minister for Health urging them to bring forward legislation on same.
